Oprah Winfrey also wears one of her favorite shoes to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, where she is the founder and chairwoman of the school’s board of trustees. Do you know why? Well, that’s because they are an A+ for comfort and practicability. Anytime she visits this academy, there’s usually a lot of walking around, and that’s very difficult to do if you’re not in love with your shoes. The school, which is located in South Africa, is a boarding school for girls ages 11 to 18. So, it’s not shocking to see Oprah rock a pair of sneakers or beautiful flats while talking to the students on leadership, service, and global citizenship.

The Queen of All Media also makes out time to put her feet in stylish yet simple footwear, perfect for alone time in her 100-million-dollar mansion or more casual outings. The shoe of choice is puffy sandals, which she describes as not just stylish but a dream to wear.
